Travelling to football matches creates a larger carbon footprint than building the stadium, catering or waste management - says Mark Hillsdon in "Green Futures" number 68.
The article encourages the use of public transport, car sharing, or even watching the match in the pub with friends rather than travelling to the stadium at all!
